NOW OPEN FOR GENERAL REGISTRATION
2012 Research Conference on the National Survey of Family Growth
General registration is now open for the 2012 Research Conference on the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG), hosted by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) on Wednesday and Thursday, October 17 and 18, 2012. The Conference will take place at NCHS located in Hyattsville, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC.
The purpose of this Research Conference is to present and discuss original, unpublished analyses of the National Survey of Family Growth, with focus on the most recent data from 2006-2010. (The deadline for paper submissions has passed.)
Below is a general outline of the conference:
Wednesday, October 17 (8:45-5:00)
  • · Session 1: Contraception and Fertility
  • · Session 2: Marriage and Cohabitation
Thursday, October 18 (8:45-3:30)
  • · Session 3: Sexual Behavior
  • · Session 4: Patterns by Hispanic Origin and Race
Registration for this conference is free and will run through Wednesday, October 3.
