NWGHAAD Post
March 10 is 6 days away!
In our last eblast, we promised to help you share knowledge and take action on National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. You’ll find everything you need in our online action center.
Three things to do if you’re just getting started:
  1. Read what Office on Women’s Health Director Nancy Lee has to say about the importance of making a difference in your community on March 10.
  2. Check out dozens of ideas for events and online activities.
  3. Show your support by printing our official poster (also offered in Spanish). (You can even add your organization’s logo before you print.)
Three things to do if you already have an event planned:
  1. Register your event or activity on our website.
  2. Make t-shirts for your event by downloading our iron-on decal
  3. Use the official National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Twibbon, infographic, Web badges and hashtag (#NWGHAAD) to promote your activities on Facebook and Twitter.
You’ll find lots more tools, graphics, templates and tips on the National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day  website. We tell you how to garner media coverage,  get a public proclamation issued, involve partners—and more.
Thank you for being part of this vitally important awareness day! And don’t forget: You can observe National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day any day in March.
