National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) Updates

National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) updates from the National Center for Health Statistics.
A new report, “Infertility and Impaired Fecundity in the United States, 1982-2010:  Data from the National Survey of Family Growth,” is now available on the NSFG webpage www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg.htm or more directly at  http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhsr/nhsr067.pdf.

The report, by NSFG team analysts Anjani Chandra and Casey Copen and Georgetown University researcher Elizabeth Hervey Stephen, describes trends and patterns in two long-standing measures of fertility impairments among reproductive-age women in the United States.  The report also presents a measure of infertility among U.S. men using 2002 and 2006-2010 NSFG data.

If you have any questions, please contact one of the report authors or the NSFG team at nsfg@cdc.gov or 301-458-4222.
