New EURORDIS TV channel showcases rare disease videos in different languages

Television with flags of countriesEURORDIS TV is pleased to announce its new multi-language channel offering the best rare disease-related documentaries and videos in a variety of languages.
Launched in April 2013, EURORDIS TV is proving to be a popular feature on the EURORDIS website with 16,500 visits. Visitors have watched over 1300 hours of videos to date. There are now over 250 videos available for viewing and new videos are being added regularly.
Gathering rare disease-related documentaries and videos into one convenient location, EURORDIS-TV is organised into ten specific channels: News & Current Issues; Living with a Rare Disease; Patient Groups; Explaining Rare Diseases; Research; Orphan Drugs; Health Policy; Rare Disease Day; EURORDIS Events, and now Other Language Videos.
EURORDIS TV identifies and gathers the best rare disease-related videos from a variety of sources, including conferences, patient organisation websites, research projects, and other venues. The videos featured on EURORDIS TV can be shared via Facebook or Twitter or embedded in a website or blog, and you are encouraged to share relevant videos via your social media networks or your patient group. Each week a new "Video of the week" continues to be highlighted on the EURORDIS homepage, in the weekly EURORDIS eNews and via the EURORDIS Facebook and Twitter networks.
