NIAID Vaccine Research Center to Participate in AIDS Walk Washington
One in every 20 residents in Washington, DC, is HIV-positive. Clinical research studies are vital to developing safe and effective vaccines. NIAID’s Vaccine Research Center (VRC) will participate in the 27th annual AIDS Walk Washington on October 26, 2013. VRC staff will be exhibiting and walking at the event and can answer your questions about participating in vaccine research studies.

Volunteer to Participate in a Vaccine Research Study

Clinical research studies are vital to developing vaccines that ease human suffering, can potentially prevent a pandemic, and in many cases, save lives. At the Vaccine Research Center (VRC), we are looking for adults (ages 18 to 50) who are willing to volunteer their time and work closely with us to evaluate vaccines against diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Flu, and others.
