Heart Attack Difference: Mars and Venus

You probably know that the differences between men and women are so great that they might as well be from other planets. But what you may not know is, when it comes to heart attacks, the common symptoms for men and women are just as different.
ManFor men, the common thread is chest pain. But for women, it’s indigestion. Some heart attacks happen with no common symptoms, but being heart healthy involves knowing what indicators are frequently associated with a heart attack.
WomanAlthough many women believe they’re not at risk, almost as many women die from heart attacks as men. And, heart disease is the No. 1 killer for both sexes.
Women who are experiencing sudden indigestion or reflux — also known as GERD, where acid rises from the throat into the mouth — that’s so bad it sends them to an emergency department should tell ER staff that they might be having a heart attack.
