This document describes the plan for peer reviewers to evaluate the updated recommendations for use of antiretroviral post-exposure prophylaxis after nonoccupational exposures to HIV in the United States. 

Peer Review Plan for “Revised Surveillance Case Definition for HIV Infection— United States, 2014”
This document describes the plan for peer reviewers to evaluate the revised national surveillance case definition for HIV infection. The case definition will be aligned with changes recommended in Position Statement 12-ID-05 approved at the2012 annual meeting of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists.

Peer Review Plan for “Recommendations for Tests for the Laboratory Diagnosis of HIV Infection in the United States”
This document describes the plan for peer reviewers to evaluate a recommended framework for the stepwise application of HIV diagnostic tests to establish an accurate laboratory diagnosis of HIV infection based on the performance characteristics of antibody, combination antigen-antibody, and nucleic acid tests for HIV that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Peer Review Plan for draft “Recommendations for HIV Prevention with Adults and Adolescents with HIV in the United States”This document describes the plan for peer reviewers to evaluate recommendations for a broad range of behavioral and biomedical interventions that reduce behaviors that allow HIV transmission and reduce the infectiousness of adults and adolescents with HIV, including many effective interventions that have been underused.
