Now Available! Quick-Learn Design Toolkit

Last month, CDC Learning Connection announced the release of the Quick-Learn Design Toolkit. This toolkit was created to help instructional designers and web developers create Quick-Learn lessons. Quick-Learn lessons are a form of e-learning designed to address one or two learning objectives and take less than 20 minutes to complete. Through responsive web design techniques, the lessons are accessed via desktop computers and mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. Access the Quick-Learn Design Toolkit and create your own Quick-Learn lesson. Let us know when you create a Quick-Learn lesson and we may share it on CDC Learning Connection!

Hip Hop Public Health

Hip Hop Public Health (HHPH) is an organization committed to fostering positive health behavior changes through music and other entertainment-based approaches. Through “Child Mediated Health Communication”, children educate their parents and grandparents about healthy eating habits, exercise and stroke prevention. HHPH’s educational products include musical cartoons, video games, comic books, and two full-length musical compilation albums featuring hip hop celebrities. Spotlight on Perinatal Quality Collaboratives

State Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs) are networks of perinatal care providers and public health professionals working to improve pregnancy outcomes for women and newborns.Many states have active collaboratives, and others are in development. To assist states starting or growing their own collaboratives, CDC worked with statewide PQCs in California, New York, and Ohio to sponsor a series of Webinars.
