March is National Nutrition Month and CDC’s Division of Laboratory Sciences wanted to share the following resources with you!

Second Nutrition Report on Biochemical Indicators of Diet and Nutrition in the U.S. Population - This report is part of a series of CDC publications that provide an ongoing assessment of the U.S. population's nutrition status. The Division of Laboratory Sciences tested blood and urine samples collected by CDC’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
Second Nutrition Report: Infographic - Results are in from CDC’s Second Nutrition Report and there’s good news! Over 9 in 10 Americans are getting enough of some important vitamins & nutrients. Learn more from the CDC infographic.
Urine Sodium Excretion Increased Slightly among U.S. Adults between 1988 and 2010(Journal of Nutrition) -This trend study was led by CDC’s Division of Laboratory Sciences and measured samples from three National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey NHANES survey periods (1988–1994, 2003–2006, and 2010). CDC’s National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics co-authored.
