Understanding Medicare Webinar Offered
The CMS National Medicare Training Program is pleased to announce the next Understanding Medicare webinar will be held on March 18th and 19th, 2014 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm ET each day. Continuing Education Units (CEU) for this program will be available to those who meet all the requirements listed below.
The goal of this activity is to educate CMS partners and stakeholders about Medicare, including the parts of Medicare and resources that are available so they may better assist people with Medicare to make informed health care decisions.
This webinar, which is designed for new partners who counsel people with Medicare, and for partners requiring a refresher, will provide current, accurate, consistent information on Medicare, including Part A (Hospital Insurance), Part B (Medical Insurance), Medicare Advantage plans (Part C), and Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D).

You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and providing the link to the webinar pre-assessment.
To receive CEU credit participants must:
- Complete the pre-assessment prior to Session 1
- Attend all four hours of the training
- Complete the course registration and evaluation
- Complete the post-test with an aggregate score of at least 70% by March 29, 2014.
