Health professionals are eligible to receive continuing education credits (CME and CEU) and a certificate of completion at no cost.

Free Online Lectures

Who are the lectures for?

This series was designed for physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals interested in research and learning about complementary medicine. Researchers, students, and members of the public are also welcome to view the online lectures and learn about NCCAM’s research.

Do I need to register to view the lectures?

You do not need to register to view the lectures. However, to receive continuing education credits or to print a certificate of completion registration is required. Additionally, registering will allow you to bookmark a video and return to complete a module at a later time.

How do I receive continuing education credits (CME or CEU)?

Register and watch one of the lectures. Each lecture includes a post-test that you must complete with an accuracy of 70% or higher in order to receive a CME or a CEU credit.
This online activity is approved for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and 7 Nursing contact hours.

How do I print a certificate of completion?

The certificate of completion will appear on your screen once you complete a post-test with an accuracy of 70% or better. If you are unable to view the certificate, you may need to download Adobe Reader. You will also need Adobe Reader to view the video transcripts, which are available as links under each video.
Completion of this educational program does not represent professional medical license/credentials or certification to practice within the topic areas covered.

Can I view archived lectures?

Some archived lectures are available for viewing. Credits are not offered for these lectures. However, you may still access and view the lectures.
