CDC E-Learning Course on Diabetes
In honor of American Diabetes Month, CDC Learning Connection features a new web-based course for clinicians, “New Beginnings: Managing the Emotional Impact of Diabetes.” This series of audio programs from the National Diabetes Education Program) focuses on how you can help your patients learn to manage the emotional impact of diabetes by building strong relationships with family, friends, and health care providers. Coping with the ups and downs of living with a chronic disease is an area of care that is often overlooked, but is essential to helping patients take action to manage their diabetes.
