Food Safety
Consume Fresh Juices and Ciders Safely This Fall. Juices provide many important nutrients, but consuming untreated juices can pose health risks to your family – especially those at risk for foodborne illness. Be sure to review FDA's important Talking About Juice Safety information, which includes steps for safe purchase and preparation of these popular beverages.

Coming Soon: Calorie Information When Eating Out. FDA's new regulations requiring calorie information on restaurant menus and menu boards and on vending machines will go into effect by December 1st of next year.  This information will help you make informed and healthful decisions about meals and snacks.
