Tobacco use among adolescents declines

Alcohol and Tobacco Use by Adolescents on the Decline, SAMHSA Study Finds

Findings from the National Survey on Drug Use and Mental Health show smoking, using alcohol, and taking prescription pain relievers have decreased for adolescents, but use of illicit drugs for people ages 12 and up has increased.
