The World Economic Forum last week looked at Alzheimer’s Disease and even though most of us didn’t go to Davos, here is a link to watch the discussion with Dr Murali Doriswamy from Duke. The world needs to get very worried about this because it will bankrupt all of us trying to pay for it over the next 30 years and destroy millions of lives if we don’t discover a cure.

- Melting your fat away really is an option. Dr Dennis Dass, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Beverly Hills says “it is going to revolutionize the way we do things.” SculpSure is now FDA approved and uses lasers to heat and shock fat cells.
- Restarting your heart is also easier and safer than ever. Dr Naushad Shaik, MD, Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute says the survival rate is very low for sudden cardiac arrest outside the hospital but with an implantable defibrillator you have a much better chance. A new alternative is called SICD.
- Diagnosing coronary artery disease with a new non-invasive test is now possible. Dr Mark Rabbat, MD, FSCCT at Loyola University in Chicago, says “The HeartFlow FFRCT analysis is a game-changer.”
