Medical Support for the State of the Union Address

On January 12, 2016, President Barak Obama delivered his annual State of the Union Address.  In support of the U.S. Congress’ Office of the Attending Physician, ASPR worked behind the scenes so that public health and medical assets, including highly trained medical personnel, would be ready if they were needed. Before the event, NDMS staff conducted preparedness activities, including a “fit test”to ensure that N95 respirators and other personal protective equipment fits properly in case it is needed. View the album >>
