On the Ground This Week: HHS to Lead Federal Response in Flint

Flint, Michigan is facing a serious public health crisis, with high levels of lead in its water supply. HHS, along with partner federal agencies, is committed to supporting the residents of Flint as well as the state and city government as it responds.  The federal government will work with state and city officials to identify the size and scope of the problem, and then provide support to state and city officials as well as the community as they make and execute a plan to mitigate the short- and long-term health effects of lead exposure.  Learn more about the health response >>
