ANTHIM: New Drug Trials Snapshot Posted

A new DRUG TRIALS SNAPSHOT FOR ANTHIM is now available.

ANTHIM is a drug for the treatment of inhalational anthrax. It is meant to be used together with an appropriate antibiotic.

ANTHIM can also be used to prevent inhalational anthrax when there are no other treatment options.

Inhalational anthrax is a rare and serious bacterial disease that can cause massive and irreversible tissue injury, shock and death.

Drug Trials Snapshots provide information about who participated in clinical trials that supported the FDA approval of new drugs. The information provided in these Snapshots also highlights whether there were any differences in the benefits and side effects among sex, race and age groups.
