CDC’s Office of Minority Health and Health Equity is excited to share with you the recently published MMWR Supplement Strategies for Reducing Health Disparities — Selected CDC-Sponsored Interventions, United States, 2016.




Non-Hispanic blacks had the highest prevalence of self-reported obesity (38.1 percent), followed by 
Hispanics (31.3 percent), and non-Hispanic whites (27.1 percent).
