ZURAMPIC: New Drug Trials Snapshot Posted

A new DRUG TRIALS SNAPSHOT FOR ZURAMPIC is now available.

ZURAMPIC is a drug for lowering uric acid levels in the blood of adult patients with gout who were not able to achieve desired levels using other drugs for lowering uric acid called xanthine oxidase inhibitors (which includes allopurinol and febuxostat).

ZURAMPIC is to be used together with xanthine oxidase inhibitor drug.

Drug Trials Snapshots provide information about who participated in clinical trials that supported the FDA approval of new drugs. The information provided in these Snapshots also highlights whether there were any differences in the benefits and side effects among sex, race and age groups.
