American Society for Microbiology (ASM) - Microbe 2016 Meeting
Division of Microbiology investigators, featured the results of their research June 16-20, 2016 at the largest gathering of microbiologists in the world. The topics  presented included studies of host-cell microbiome interactions, molecular microbial ecology, mechanisms leading to antimicrobial resistance, and the genotypic characterization of foodborne pathogens. This was the first year for the combined meeting using the ASM-Microbe meeting format. This one-of-a-kind forum of microbiologists brought together scientists from across the globe to discuss microbiology from concepts of the basic science, through to the translation and application of this knowledge for public health.
