Pain is the most common reason for seeking medical care, and it’s also a common reason why people turn to complementary and integrative health approaches. A growing body of scientific evidence suggests that several complementary approaches, including spinal manipulation, acupuncture, massage, and yoga, may help to manage some types of chronic pain, which is pain that can last weeks or more.
