Late Breaker IMED 2016 Abstract Deadline

International Meeting on Emerging Diseases and Surveillance
Vienna, Austria, November 4-7, 2016

Dear Colleague,
 
IMED 2016 will be held on 4-7 NOVEMBER 2016 in Vienna, Austria.
 
A window for late-breaker abstracts will be open for abstracts that contain data unavailable prior to July 1, the original abstract submission deadline. All late-breaker abstracts must be submitted online between September 15 and September 22. Late-breaker abstracts are highly competitive; only abstracts containing new, cutting-edge information will be considered. Retrospective studies will not be considered.

Applications for the Hackathon to be held in conjunction with IMED 2016 are now open. The IMED 2016 Hackathon will bring together multidisciplinary teams to develop practice-oriented solutions to work on the development of innovative approaches to detect, predict, and prevent the next outbreak at the intersections of climate change, migration, technology, medicine, social economy, and the public and private sectors. Prototype projects from the Hackathon will be presented during IMED 2016.
 
Note that the EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE with an associated discount for the 6th IMED is SEPTEMBER 29, 2016. And, the discounted room rate at the Hilton Hotel has been extended until Sept 30th (based on availability).
