FDA OMH Precision Cardiovascular Medicine Webinar with Dr. Arjun Manrai

The FDA's Office of Minority Health (OMH) will be hotsing a free webinar this month in honor of American Heart Health Month.
OMH will host Dr. Arjun Manrai, researcher at the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Manrai will give a presentation on his current research on genetic misdiagnoses and cardiomyopathy.
During this webinar you will learn more about:
  • contemporary uses of genetic testing for the inherited heart disease hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • the consequences of a lack of diverse control sequence data on variant classifications and
  • the value of the current pathogenicity-based scale of rating clinical-grade genetic variation.
