We are excited to announce new provider tools for CDC’s U.S. Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use, 2016 (U.S. MEC) and U.S. Selected Practice Recommendations for Contraceptive Use, 2016 (U.S. SPR).



U.S. MEC and U.S. SPR: These new web pages were created to easily find guidance from your computer, phone, or tablet.





U.S. SPR E-Book: Download the latest version of the U.S. SPR to your e-Book reader.

Speaker Ready Slides: The slide presentations can be used by health care providers who want to increase their knowledge about the U.S. MEC, U.S. SPR, and teen pregnancy. The presentation and speaker notes can also be used or adapted to give presentations on these topics. Continuing education credits will be provided in the near future.
