Attend Sessions Featuring NCI Staff
NCI-Sponsored Sessions

These sessions are all led by NCI staff and will present information about NCI programs. NCI-Sponsored Sessions at AACR are not scientific sessions where research studies and data are presented. Instead, these sessions are informative in nature and provide details on NCI’s priorities, programs, funding opportunities, resources, and guidance. NCI staff also participate in annual sessions led by multiple NIH institutes. Find a complete schedule here.
Other Sessions with NCI Staff Participants

These sessions are traditional data-driven oral presentations as well as major and minisymposiums, awards and lectures, meet and greets, plenary sessions, poster sessions, and special sessions. The most current session and presentation information is available through the AACR Online Proceedings/Itinerary Planner. Users can browse and search all presentations on the Annual Meeting program (including those featuring National Cancer Institute participants) and select results to create a personal schedule for the meeting. You will also be receiving a daily email during AACR that includes NCI planned activities for the day.

Cancer Close Up

Ever wonder what cancer looks like close up? Featured in the NCI exhibit booth will be large-scale microscopy images by scientists working at cancer centers. The theme this year is cancer related nanotechnology. These visually compelling images will be on display and are also available to view and download on NCI Visuals Online.
NCI Resource Room
NCI Resource Room

Researchers interested in meeting with their Program Directors should contact them ahead of AACR to arrange a time to meet at the NCI Resource Room. This space will be used for one-on-one consultations with NCI staff as well as small group meetings facilitated by the NCI.
