A world free of measles, rubella, and polio is within reach, but until these diseases are eradicated worldwide, outbreaks can still occur in the United States. Health care providers and public health departments play an important role in eradicating these diseases and in protecting Americans at home and abroad.
On Tuesday, April 25 from 12 p.m.–1:30 p.m. ET, join the National Vaccine Program Office (NVPO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the webinar: The Path to a World Free of Polio, Measles, and Rubella, and Remaining Risks for the United States. During the webinar, you will hear from global and domestic immunization experts, including:
  • Guthrie Birkhead, MD, MPH, Medical Officer, National Vaccine Program Office, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
  • John F. Vertefeuille, PhD, MHS, Chief, Polio Eradication Branch and Incident Manager, Emergency Polio Response, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
