Webinar on IFSAC Strategic Plan Now Available Online

The Interagency Food Safety Analytics Collaboration (IFSAC) held a webinar on May 31 to discuss its strategic plan for 2017–2021. The focus of the plan is on estimating the contribution of various food categories to illnesses caused by Salmonella, E. coli O157, Listeria, and Campylobacter.

IFSAC was created in 2011 by three federal agencies—CDC, FDA, and USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service—to improve coordination of federal food safety analytic efforts and address cross-cutting priorities for food safety data collection, analysis, and use.
