Ask the MD: Dyskinesia and Parkinson's Disease | Parkinson's Disease

Ask the MD

Dear Friend,

You may have heard that the FDA recently approved a new medication for dyskinesia -- involuntary, irregular movement that can occur with long-term levodopa use for Parkinson's. (If not, check out the link below for more information.) To put this news in context, I thought it'd be helpful to explain what dyskinesia is, why it occurs and how it can be treated. Watch this "Ask the MD" video to learn about these topics and the ongoing research in dyskinesia.
