  • More than 2 million cases [PDF-373KB] of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis were reported in the US in 2016, according to CDC’s AtlasPlus tool—the highest number ever.
  • AtlasPlus has the most current data reported to CDC about these sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and lets users filter data by year, geography, and various demographics to customize maps, charts, and tables.
  • AtlasPlus can show which populations and communities are most affected by STDs and other diseases, allowing health departments to recognize and analyze trends, as well as tailor prevention programs and interventions.
