Please join us on June 4 at 11 a.m. ET when Dr. Mary Jo Larson of Brandeis University will speak at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on “Caring for Our Military: Considering Nondrug Therapies for Pain.”
Dr. Larson will talk about recent innovations in the treatment of pain in the military setting, including expanded use of nondrug treatments and a full continuum of best-practice pain services. She will also discuss her NCCIH-funded research study on the characteristics and clinical needs of U.S. Army soldiers returning from deployments, the treatments they receive, and their outcomes.
